After two long years of online album launches, we are finally back! We are so excited to have been back in real time with SubSounds this year. Two years of conducting our songwriting workshops online, over Zoom, really made us appreciate the importance of real time collaboration, and has made this past year extra special.
As always, we have been absolutely blown away by the incredible enthusiasm, detication and talent of our SubSounds participants this year. The young musicians aged 14-18 years-old created in song writing sessions, rehearsals and workshops in Rua Red.
The SubSounds Class of 2022 will launch with a gig in The Sugar Club, Leeson Street, Dublin 2, at 1pm. Here the participants from SubSounds Tallaght, and SubSounds Intro will perform their original songs live for the first time in over two years.

The SubSounds Class of 2021 album was written and arranged between November 2020 and April 2021 by the members of SubSounds Music Collective. The collective is a partnership between Alternative Entertainments, Music Generation South Dublin and South Dublin County Council Arts Office. Supported by Music Networks Music Capital Scheme, funded by the Department of Tourism, Culture, Arts, Gaeltacht, Sport and Media. Music Network is funded by the Arts Council.
